Meet Our Guest Pinner: Soo Joo Park, Today's Model

You've seen her before: 5-foot-10, frosty blond hair, an almond-shaped face with an icy, lingering gaze.

She has walked for several leading houses. She was one of the cool kids in the fall DKNY campaign, starring Rita Ora. And her tower of sandy dreadlocks at Jeremy Scott's Moschino spring 2015 men's show in June was hard to forget. So far this season, she has strutted down the DKNY, Peter Som and Ohne Titel catwalks.

Maybe you don't know her by name.

Soo Joo Park, 28, South Korean-born and New York-based, is a rising star whose print portfolio includes the likes of CR Fashion Book, W magazine and i-D, and ad campaigns for Chanel and Tom Ford.

Ms. Park, a Wilhelmina model, keeps the street-style photographers trailing, yet her popularity stems from more than just her trademark hair and razor-sharp cheekbones. She is today's model.

Besides the maintenance and hustle required to land work these days, social media is a part of her daily regimen, which she says is becoming an inevitably essential part of a model's career.

'I use platforms such as Instagram, Tumblr and Twitter like a visual diary to record my life,' Ms. Park said.

The hardest part? 'Maybe knowing when to put my smartphone down. Hard when you're addicted.'

For her it's paying off. She blogs regularly on Tumblr; has close to 19,000 followers on Twitter; and more than 200,000 on Instagram. When you search her name on Pinterest, there are 52 inspiration boards dedicated to her. Not bad for a model who is not yet operating on a first-name basis like Coco or Karlie.

As she trots around the globe for the coming weeks of shows, see the spring 2015 collections and other Fashion Week moments through her eyes as she guest pins for The New York Times during the New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.

Like the rest of New York, Ms. Park said she is curious to see what Marc Jacobs will do at his show tomorrow, as well as what extravaganza Karl Lagerfeld will produce at Chanel this season.

In London, Ms. Park is expecting 'freshness and intricacy' at the J.W. Anderson show; in Milan, she's looking forward to Mr. Scott's witty and humorous take on fashion.

See her favorite looks from the shows so far, and follow her board on The Times Pinterest page. She'll be pinning daily until the final chapter ends in Paris.
