Kendall Jenner At DVF - Stunning 60s Inspired Hair
Hair was curated by Orlando Pita for BioSilk. He told HollywoodLife.com:
'The collection is inspired by the South of France, St. Tropez, with a bit of gingham and a bit of Picasso and Gaudi influence. They were around a lot in the French Riviera during the 50s and 60s, but the collection is more about today.
Take Our Poll
Brigitte Bardot was often one of the people in St. Tropez, so it's all loosely based on her - that kind of undone, sexy, lots-of-hair, volume look but not done so 60s - more for a girl of today.
Brigitte Bardot wasn't perfectly done all the time, which makes her even sexier I think. Although it's a modern take on her look, it's not too far from what she was already doing then.'
Diane von Furstenberg's Runway - Hair How To
Here's the exact how to:
'We start by prepping the hair with a good amount of BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Root Lift. Then, to get a lot of lift and volume with our blow-dry, we use a large round CHI ceramic brush. Then we go over some of the ends of the hair with a CHI Air 1.5″ Curling Iron.
'Then we go section by section, putting in BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Texturizing Powder on the roots to give even more volume without teasing, because the tease is more 60s. Then we add even more powder all over the hair to get thick, gorgeous tendrils that look piecey and undone.
I finish it off with BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Strong Hold Hairspray to hold the look. I prefer a firm hold to natural hold spray.'
