Models never walk alone.
Oh, sure, they stalk the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan and London one at a time.
But before they face the A-listers in the front row and the photographers waiting at the end of the runway, they're mobbed backstage by teams of hardworking hair stylists, makeup artists and nail techs.
The photographic evidence? These scenes, captured during New York Fashion Week, which concludes Thursday with presentations by Ralph Lauren, J. Mendel and Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein.
