Bye bye pink. It looks like Rumer Willis was bored with having cotton candy-colored hair, because she's dyed her hair blonde. I'm not sure of the exact reason for the hair switch up, but maybe she was fed up with having to coordinate her outfits around her pastel locks? (Her green-haired sister, Tallulah Willis, knows what that is like.) Rumer posted a photo on her Instagram account showing off her newly lightened locks.
Rumer chose a nice honey blonde shae that reminds me of Blake Lively's gorgeous golden locks. I like that she decided not to bleach her eyebrows and kept them dark, to match the hint of visible roots. She probably knew that if she bleached them, she would be bored of them in exactly 18 hours, like everyone else.
Rumer also chopped her hair into a long bob, which I can only imagine is because she is sick of having long hair that feels like a wool blanket surrounding her face. In the summer, if you're not constantly wearing your hair up, you're cutting it off. Those are the only options for dealin with heat and humidity. The haircut is actually really flattering and the choppy layers suit her grungy style. Here's a better look:
Rumer Willis is one of those celebrities who switches her hair so frequently, that it is difficult to keep track. At this point, I have no idea what her natural hair color actually is. Recently she's been every shade of pink hair from an almost red fuchsia to a soft rose color. For a few, short days hours when she first dyed her locks blonde, she even had blue tips.
It might have been just a hair chalk, or maybe Tallulah got angry that she was copying her mermaid hair, because she ditched the blue shortly after. Though Rumer is blonde for the moment, I bet we'll be seeing at least one more hair color this summer. Does anyone think she's going to jump on the silver hair bandwagon?
