Nearly half of all Brits never change their hairstyle, opting for the same 'do pretty much their whole life a new study has found.

It's certainly a case of same hair don't care here in Blighty, as new research from Macmillan has shown that 47% of people never change their hairstyle.
To mark the launch of Shave or Style, Macmillan Cancer Support found that us Brits are pretty boring when it comes to our hair. According to the report, while almost half of us stick with one style for our whole life the other 53% only change their style once a year.
However, when we do get drastic with the scissors it's only to fix our damaged ends or to tackle an unruly mane.
Other than that big occasions like weddings motivate us to change our look with 22% of people surveyed attributing their restyle to wanting to look their best ahead of a big event.
But it's not just us mere mortals who are reluctant to endure a full blown hair transformation, model Cindy Crawford, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and singer Nicole Scherzinger have also never changed their hairstyle.

Loose long curls are still the holy grail of hair types, with newlywed and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole topping the polls to find 'the UK's top female hair crush', followed by ex- Corrie star Michelle Keegan and This Morning favourite Holly Willoughby.
