For the Roshi Porkar runway show at Spring/Summer 2015 Berlin Fashion Week, simple nape-of-the-neck ponytails were decked out in classic calico hair barrettes, creating a faux plastic head piece.
That same week, Perret Schaad sent models down the runway with similar strands. This time though only one single silver barrette decorated the straight ponies.
But it's not just top-name designers who are embracing the '90s trend. Kat Dennings hit the red carpet showing off a super glam version, complete with Veronica Lake curls and a delicate, jeweled hair piece.
DJ Caitlin Moe proved that even short-haired ladies can pull off the look. This gold-and-pearl hair piece gave the platinum blonde a fun Victorian-meets-mod look.
And last but not least, the queen of retro herself, Taylor Swift, tried her hand at the adorned look by pairing two pearl barrettes placed one on top of the other.
