Short, spiky, punky and alternative aren't usually the words you would associate with blonde beauty Abbey Clancy.
The usually honey hued mother-of-one has undergone a dramatic style transformation- all in the name of charity.
Wearing a short black layered mullet the 28-year-old underwear model is almost unrecognisable, save for her piercing blue eyes peering from beneath her gothic fringe.
The Strictly Come Dancing winner is wearing the wig to support Macmillan Cancer Support's shave or style campaign, which calls on the public to don a new do' to help those affected by cancer.
Taken by photographer Rankin, in the glam rock style portrait Abbey can be seen peering from beneath her new ebony barnet, going braless under a black leather jacket, whilst gripping the collar and gazing into the camera.
Abbey said: 'Shave or Style is all about recognising that changes to our appearance doesn't just change how we look, but also how we feel. Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer and who will have gone through these changes, so I'm delighted to be helping to raise awareness for this great campaign.'
Speaking of her involvement in the campaign and her decision to trial a new punk style, Abbey explained:
'When Macmillan asked what style I wanted to trial for the Rankin Shave or Style shoot, I knew I wanted to try something really different that people wouldn't immediately recognise as 'me'.
'I've always had long, blonde hair so in the end I went for a short punky look! It was so much fun to experiment and trial a new style for the day'.
Also taking part in the photo series was peroxide blonde singer Nina Nesbitt and TV presenter Gethin Jones.
Selfies singer Nina opted for a short black messy bob, said of taking part in the campaign:
'I loved being part of the Rankin shoot. I'd feel like a completely different person without my blonde hair - I even named my album, Peroxide, after it! - so it's been so cool to try something different and it's such an easy way to help people affected by cancer.'
Gethin, who went for a swept over super hero look for the shoot said:
'Girls think they have all the fun when it comes to trialling new hair styles but Shave or Style for Macmillan is a great opportunity to prove that wrong! We went for the Clark Kent inspired look for this Rankin shoot, I'm just waiting to turn into superman now! But the true superheroes to me are those facing cancer.'
The campaign raises money by asking people to either brave or shave a new look; and encourage friends and family to sponsor, or trial a style; sharing a photo on social media before texting STYLE to 70550 to give a £3 donation.
