According to Hollywood Life, the 25-year-old went under quite a transformation to become Apple, the homeless pregnant teen in the film.

Inside the magazine fans can find Hudgens spilling details on her experience while filming the movie.
For her role, the actress cut off her long dark hair and gained fifteen pounds. She explained, 'I loved looking into the mirror and seeing myself with short hair and bad skin and tattoos. The uglier I could make myself, the more giggly I would get on the inside.'
The former Disney darling admitted, 'It was the first time I really stepped out of my control zone, physically and material-wise. I'm a little afraid of myself when I watch it,' adding, 'I don't think it's 'good girl gone bad.''
Vanessa Hudgens confessed, 'I think it's more 'girl growing into a woman and being passionate and taking choices.' I have so much work to do, and I think I will always feel that way.'
Now that she has lost the weight, the actress is once again confident and even showed off her sexy side as she mixed up her look while donning bold red lips and long, dramatic eyelashes.
