Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka showed off a snazzy new hairdo as she relaxed between takes during a photo shoot in Malibu.
The 14-year-old star had her hair pinned up into two twists along her head, giving her overall look a glamorous 1920s feel.
Keeping warm between takes, the teenager wore a white robe which drowned her tiny frame as she chatted away to the crew on Zuma Beach, on Tuesday.
With her hair teased into two perfect twists, the star looked brilliantly confident for someone of her tender years and she walked around with an air of sophistication and maturity.
The bubbly actress laughed along with the photographer and stylists as they moved position on the famous 30000 Pacific Coast Highway beach in Los Angeles.
Zuma Beach is renowned for its long, wide sands and brilliant surf making it a popular choice for celebrities and local residents, and for picturesque photo shoots.
Chigago-born Kiernan wore delicate, light make-up reflecting her natural beauty perfectly; a lick of natural-coloured lipstick matched with well-defined brows finished off the star's styling.
Although the star was being shot on the beach, the temperatures didn't rise above 15C while the group were filming.
Despite her show Flowers In The Attic premiering last week, the star isn't taking a break from her hectic schedule.
She was named one of Vogue's 10 rising stars of 2014, at the end of last year, alongside Ciara, Iggy Azalea and Lupita Nyong'o.
And it would seem she's living up to those standards as she takes part in another photo shoot.
But Kiernan's not one to forget about her friends, or being a teenager, as she demonstrated to her Instagram followers on Tuesday.
The star posted a picture of herself with two teenage friends drinking iced coffee after her chilly beach shoot, proving she is a normal teenager as well as an award-winning actress.
