The Duchess beat the likes of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston to the top spot with 19% of the vote by PromotionalCodes.org.uk. According to the poll it was combination of Kate's natural bounce and shine with the fact a hair never appears to be out of place that turned voters green with envy over the royal do.
One voter said of the Duchess: 'Kate Middleton has beautiful hair. I'm sure she has her off days but we never see her without a hair out of place. Her hair looks great loose or in an elaborate up do. I'd give anything to have hair like hers.'
She might be the top hair pin-up but don't expect to emulate Kate's gorgeous locks anytime soon, unless you have a lot of cash to splash as the royal's do is in the safe hands of the UK's most expensive hair dresser Italian born Rossano Ferretti, who charges £600 for a haircut.
Kate visited his salon in November for a reported six-hour makeover to rescue her lacklustre do after she was spotted sporting grey hairs.
While the Duchess' preened look might have won, it seems voters were also a fan of Beyonce's ever changing look. She's rocked a pixie crop, toussled bob and volumous curls in recent weeks and it seems her ability to mix up the look has won her a legion of fans coming in second place with 16%.
A Bey fan said: 'Beyonce's hair always looks good - whether tied up or left bouncing around her shoulders. It always looks so healthy - with the money she has, so it should.'
Style veteran Jennifer Aniston, who has managed to maintain near perfect locks for over 20 years came in 6th in the poll. From the 'Rachel' to her recent bob, the We're The Millers actress clearly can't put a foot wrong when it comes to her hair.
'Jennifer Aniston has the most amazing hair. I loved her 'Rachel' cut in the 90s,' one Jen fan claimed, 'I even tried it for a while just like every other woman I know. The thing I admire is that her hair always looks on trend and she's never veered too much away from the style that made her so famous.'
