Despite having the most enviable and emulated locks in the country, Kate had a serious hair malfunction yesterday.
Her trademark soft bouncy curls were replaced with ringlets (never a good idea on anyone aged eight or above) and she had pulled the top of her hair back off her face.
While it pains us to say it the effect was frumpy and unflattering and a far cry from the sleek and polished image she usually portrays.
You shouldn't knock a girl for trying a different 'do' but even the most loyal Copy-Kates won't be trying at home.
