ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford Police looking for a man they say robbed a local business at gunpoint and stole a woman's purse.
Officers say it happened just before 11:30 Saturday morning at Cutting Edge Hair Salon. That's on north Rockton, near Auburn Road.
Police say no one was hurt, but the thief did show a gun and got away with some cash.
