Concerns grow for missing pensioner

Gardai are increasingly worried about an elderly man's well-being

Concerns are growing for the safety of a missing Dublin pensioner.

Eighty-one-year-old Thomas Chambers, from Crumlin, has not been seen since Saturday morning.

He was driving a blue Toyota Corolla estate, registration number 99D78572, on Dundrum Road Lower, Dublin, at about 10.30am but has failed to return home.

A spokesman said Gardai and his family were increasingly worried about the elderly man's well-being.

Mr Chambers is described as being 5ft 5in, of medium build with short grey hair. He was wearing a beige fleece, green cardigan, blue striped shirt, black cord trousers and black trainers.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact Garda at Dundrum station.
