David Babaii told HollywoodLife.com how he created the look:
He used Big Sexy Hair Big Altitude Bodifying Blow Dry Mousse to anchor the look, and to add volume and hold. After adding to mousse to the hair, he blow dried using his hands to create lift and texture. Next, David sectioned the hair into four sections - top, crown, sides and nape. This made it possible to dry the hair without disturbing the texture. He started at the nape and curled very small sections with small barrel curling irons. He alternated between 1/4″ and 1/2″ curling irons, holding the hair for 10 seconds.
To complete the look, David used Big Sexy Hair Big Boost for added volume, texture and definition. He used it underneath each section of hair, lifting the hair as he worked it in. With a bit of product on his fingers, he would shape and define each curl and place gently where it needed to be. He created a zig-zag side part, and then sprayed her hair with Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play hairspray. It gives a lovely, flexible hold that provides volume and protects against humidity - a must under the hot TV lights!
