We post so often about hairstyles that are easy to recreate at home. And trust: We love looks that translate just as much as you. But sometimes it's nice to look at something beautiful even though you know you could never/would never wear it in real life (kind of the way we feel looking at couture fashion). And although the gelled, wavy look with a twist created by Guido Palau was perfect on the models at the Valentino Fall 2014 Couture show, we're not suggesting anyone pile on the gel for everyday life.
This high-fashion, sculpted hairstyle is beautiful and offers endless inspiration, and certain elements, like the long S-waves and small detail in the back, are totally doable. Your waves might not be as perfect, your twisty band in the back might have some layers pop through, and you will probably skip the gel, but we bet you'll get loads of compliments on your 'do.
