He recently debuted his Russell Brand style hairdo during that memorable Eurosong Late Late Show. Before Linda Martin fronted up to Billy McGuinness, it was actually Eoghan's spiky do that had everyone talking on Twitter.
But celebrity stylist Ingrid Hoey, who styles Eoghan on the programme, has given his bushy hairstyle the big thumbs up.
'I think it's kind of become his trademark and I think it suits him. I think he can really carry it off,' she told the Diary.
'It's refreshing to see a young guy not afraid to try different things.'
She added how she got lots of queries about his leopard-print style shirt that he sported on the show last Sunday, which came from Arnotts.
'He's tall and has a good build so can pull off a lot of different looks. He has a quirky personality and doesn't play it safe which is great. He's very easy to style.'
