We've all had bad haircuts before, but what happens when your hair color goes wrong?
Ron King spoke to KVUE on how to get the hair color you want, and what to do if it turns out different than what you expected.
DO'S OF HAIR COLOR
- Have a thorough consultation with your stylist about what you want. - Be realistic about what will suit you, and the maintenance involved in that look. - Bring photos of the look you want to achieve.
- Write down all your questions/concerns, and ask your stylist. - Listen to your stylist, and if they say no to a look you should trust them.
DON'TS OF HAIR COLOR
- Don't give total control to the stylist by having the 'do whatever you want' mentality. - Don't leave out details: Like a keratin treatment or previous color you've had. - Don't take matters into your own hands if you don't like your hair color.
