Get the Look: Jessica Paré's Grace Kelly

Jessica Paré may prefer mod-inspired hairstyles when she's playing Megan Draper on , but in real life, her hairstylist Marcus Francis used Grace Kelly as his muse to create the star's gorgeous half-updo at Paleyfest over the weekend. The look is flattering against both red carpet and real life ensembles alike, so we got the breakdown straight from the hair pro to give your own beauty routine a touch of retro flair. Francis began with freshly-washed strands, adding Suave's Volumizing Root Boost Spray ($4; soap.com) around the crown area, then used the Suave Natural Infusion Leave-In Foam ($6; soap.com) on the star's mid-lengths and ends before blowing her hair dry with a round brush. 'Make a deep side-part, and with a 3/4″ curling iron, wrap small sections of hair from roots to ends, and set each area into a pin curl,' he advises. 'On both sides, brush hair behind the ear, and curl the ends to keep the back area full.'

As the pin-curls set, Francis spritzed them with a light veil of hairspray for extra hold, then brushed out the ringlets after they had cooled to form the soft wave. For a boost in volume, he used lightly teased the top and front areas before blending them in with the rest of her strands. He secured the style by fastening bobby pins behind the ear on both sides of Paré's head, and tamed any unexpected flyaways with a small dollop of Suave Natural Infusion Light Leave-In Cream ($6; soap.com).
