Holly Madison rose to fame as one of Hugh Hefner's blond girlfriends on the reality show The Girls Next Door, but the former Playboy model has ditched her famous platinum blond 'do for a more reserved look. Holly, who became a mother last year when she gave birth to daughter Rainbow, showed off her dark red tresses last night at an event in Las Vegas.
Holly broke up with longtime boyfriend Hugh over five years ago but they are still on good terms. However, it appears that she is trying to leave that part of her life in the past. The 34 year-old made the switch to red earlier this month, and has continued to darken the hue ever since.
'I'm tired of looking the same,' Holly told Us Weekly. 'People judge you on your appearance. It's frustrating when you go about your daily life and people assume that just because you look the same way you did 10 years ago, you're the same.
'I want people to judge me for what I'm like now,' she added.
Holly's husband, Pasquale Rotella, is said to be a fan of her new 'do, as is one-year-old Rainbow.
'[She] was a little surprised when I walked in [with the new hair color],' Holly said. 'She was open-mouthed, and immediately reached out to touch my hair.'
