After attending Taylor Swift's garden birthday party and releasing her brand new single 'No Better', the world's most talked about Kiwi jumped on Reddit for a quick AMA session on Monday.
Referencing the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Nicki Minaj's brilliant eye liner application tutorial/ 'bossing up' soliloquy, Lorde brushed off questions about her child prodigy status and being humble.
'I feel like I learnt early on how things worked and that gave me a good understanding of what could be fucked with/which rules were dumb and shouldn't have to be followed. Plus, I can sit down with basically the most intimidating people in the industry and not flinch. And maybe even make them flinch. Or cry. Heh,' she mused, regarding her child star status.
Much to the delight of her US fans, she also confirmed, with a capitalised 'YES!', that she'll be performing at one, or many, of the 'major festivals in North America in 2014'
However, in between talking about her lyrics and favourite books, she answered the one question we all want to know - how does she get her hair that pretty?
Well, she kind of did, in that nonchalant and adolescent manner of hers.
When asked, 'What shampoo do you use?', the singer responded: 'My mum buys it in 2-litre bottles from the supermarket, I don't even know.'
She then made reference to some of the shade she's copped for her appearance while performing:
'I know what I'm onstage, I don't think about how it looks, I just concentrate on really feeling what I hear. But I totally know I look like Gollum when I perform, so it's cool.'
