Britney Spears hasn't been exactly known for some good hair choices over the years. Just stating the facts here -- not picking on Brit because anyone who knows me knows I've had my fair share of hair catastrophes. I'm not sure how I survived the '80s with all the hairspray I inhaled. Not sure how I got through doorways either. But for Britney, we've seen the shaved head and tons of exposed hair extensions. No one wants to see that. But we do want to see this.
Behold Britney's oh so gorgeous icy blonde locks perfectly secured in a glamorous bun. I'm going to go ahead and say it ... she's never looked better. That softness. Her skin. That sweater. That hair! Thankfully, that bun is deceptively easy to do.
And you don't even need clean hair to do it. In fact, may be best dirty ... with just a little dry shampoo in case there are any greasy strands. All you need to do is put your hair up with a ponytail holder and secure it. Then wrap the ponytail around and secure with some bobby pins. Play around with how it's secured to get different bun looks.
You can do more of a top knot style, too, which I love. Or like Brit and secure the bun almost at the same level at the top of your head, about an inch below. You can even braid it before securing.
While we're talking about Brit, I'd be remiss to mention that I love her song 'Scream & Shout' with will.i.am. Also 'Work Bitch' ... rules.
