Wanting to keep up with trending hair colors in 2014? Check out what one hair colorist predicts will be the hair color of 2014.
Kyle White, the colorist for Mariah Carey, predicts that platinum blonde will be the hair color of 2014. White has based his predictions based on what he has seen trending with fashion shows and celebrities. He also claims that hair colors in 2014 will be monochromatic. This means that hair in 2014 will be a solid color without any noticeable highlights, reports StyleList.
White also predicts that wild hair colors, such as pink and blue, will be taking a leave in 2014. He says that the reason behind this is because those colors fade away after being washed a couple of times. He says that this is alright for teenage girls, but that is doesn't work out as well for 40-year-old women, StyleList notes.
Over-straightened and tousled hair, as well as glamorous roots are also hair trends to avoid in 2014.
