Holly Madison has well and truly shed the baby weight since welcoming her first child, daughter Rainbow, into the world on March 5.

The former Playboy model looked not just back to her pre-pregnancy best, but better than ever as she hit the red carpet at the opening night of the Nevada Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

The bubbly blonde, who turns 34 on December 23, easily stole the show in her figure-hugging royal blue one-shouldered gown, which featured a cut-out back.

The floor-length creation featured a flattering ruched bodice, not that the star needed to disguise anything, with her clearly trim and toned midsection apparent to all.

Leaving her nine-month-old in the capable hands of husband Pasquale Rotella - with whom she tied the knot on September 10 - Holly treated herself to a fun and decidedly girlie night out at the ballet, which took place at The Smith Center For The Performing Arts.

The star styled her golden tresses in a '50s-style half up, half down 'do, with her face framed by a large curl.

Her make-up was exquisite, with lashings of mascara setting off her perfectly rimmed eyes, a touch of rosy blush on her cheeks and glossy red lips completing the look.

Holly did her best Angelina Jolie pose with her right leg thrust out through the thigh-high slit in her dress, exposing her black spider's web-like stilettos, as she posed for photographers alongside a laughing Veronic Dicaire.

The French-Canadian singer sadly looked positively dowdy next to the flashy bombshell, as she covered up in a rather unflattering long-sleeved dress with ruffled hem that was in shades of blue, brown, black and white.

She teamed the outfit with black stockings and matching lace-up shoes.
