Hair care recipes: How to make a natural homemade conditioner, with recipes ...

Home made conditioner can be inexpensive, fun to make, and you can customize your conditioner to what works best for you without spending a lot of money only to end up with a product you don't even like.

With home made products, you can make small amounts of different types of conditioners to try them out and find what works best for you. Once you find a recipe you like, you can make it as much as you want, as often as you want.

There are many different recipes you can use to prepare your own conditioner, most of which use everyday ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

You will also need to visit your local health food or metaphysical store to pick up some essential oils.

Essential oils are very potent and should be used sparingly. If you experience any redness, burning, itching or other irritation while using an essential oil, discontinue its use immediately and see a doctor. You may be allergic to the oil which can result in serious problems.

Most of the following recipes can be mixed up by hand with just a spoon. For others, you will need an electric mixer or a blender.

If you are making more than enough conditioner for just one use, you will also need resealable airtight containers. Invest in some labels to mark the containers. Conditioners with mayonnaise or eggs need to be refrigerated. Other conditioners can also be put into decorative bottles and given as gifts.
