As fate would have it, before Duchess Catherine learned of Nelson Mandela's death yesterday, she headed out to the royal film premier of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. And she did so in a ponytail we've seen her in before.
She wore her hair parted down the middle in the front...
And in the back it was pulled back into a low-ish ponytail wrapped in a strip of velvet ribbon:
Usually, Kate wears her hair down or half-up -a romantic ponytail is a new one for her. And tied with a strip of velvet? Who knew? But it's really very cute and girlie.
