'Today' show co-host Tamron Hall has said in the past that in her career in front of the camera, she has chosen to do her own hair, because really, she just does it best. She flat irons it daily before she takes her seat on the morning show, but tries to go heat-free on the weekends. But she did speak in the past about choosing to wear her hair straight, and if there was a possibility that she would wear her hair in its naturally coiled state on TV.
When I'm on vacation, I do wear my hair natural and then I straighten my hair out when I go to work. I don't think that it's assimilation but certainly I know that if I were to wear my hair curly on air it would likely be the most talked about thing that I've done that day no matter what I've done on air. I guess one could say, I keep my hair straight for 'professional' reasons but I don't think that I have to do that. And I'm sure there's a day very soon that I'll wear my hair natural on air. And I don't see it affecting me in any way.
Hall actually made that day today! And she was correct about it being the only things folks talked about from today's 'Today' broadcast. The beauty took to Twitter to let everyone know this morning that she was ditching the heat for the day.

'I was out with @BearGrylls until midnight living in the wild. Got 4hrs of sleep simply too tires to blow dry and flat iron my hair.'

And interesting enough, The 'Today' Show decided to do a poll on Twitter asking followers whether or not she should keep her 'natural hair look' on the show (smh) and 78 percent of people thought she should keep the curls, while 22 percent prefer the straight strands.
But this isn't the first time we've seen Tamron Hall's curls poppin', as she debuted them on a trip to South Africa early this year.
Kudos to her for being comfortable enough to wear her natural curls on-air. She looks gorgeous! But then again, she always does, am I right?
