Kim Kardashian has recently showcased a slew of photos revealing her platinum blonde locks. The pouty pictures were uploaded by the 33-year-old reality television star on her personal Instagram page on June 25, just hours after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was seen arriving at JFK Airport sporting her previous, brunette look.
The first photo shows Kim posing next to renowned style guru Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele. The image was captioned, 'On set today with the legend @Carlynecerfdedudzeele !!!'
Another snap shows her sat in celebrity hair stylist Serge Normant's chair. Dressed in a white robe, Kim took a selfie in the mirror and captioned the image, 'It's baaaaack!!!! #BlondeHairDontCare thanks to @SergeNormant.' Thus far, the image has gained in excess of 500,000 likes and more than 17,000 comments.
It remains unclear whether the look is just a temporary change for a photo shoot, or whether the fashion designer and model has decided to make a more permanent transition. However, a source close to US Weekly claims the do is actually made up of a wig and lots of extensions.
The new hairstyle would come as no surprise to many of Kardashian's fans, as she has previously expressed regret over switching back to her raven hairdo. On Feb. 3, Kim said she was 'annoyed' that she had dyed her hair for a new series of Keeping up With the Kardashians:
'I'm so annoyed I dyed my hair dark! I wanted to switch it up since I feel everyone went light, and we started filming a new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashian, so wanted a fresh look. BUT now I am missing my light hair! HELP!!!'
She then used Mobio INsider to solicit the advice of her fans, asking whether she should return to her blonde hairstyle or keep her signature look.
