If there are two hairstyles that never go out of style, they're bombshell curls and sexy bedhead. And when you combine the two, you get a look that's clearly unstoppable. And unstoppable was definitely the look at Betsey Johnson's latest runway show during New York Fashion Week Fall 2014. Models sported big and bouncy waves that were slightly messy for that extra tousled, vampy look we've come to expect from the quirky designer.

'Think Brigitte Bardot meets modern day rock 'n roll-an iconic look turned edgy and loud,' describes hairstylist Michael Dueñas of the ultra sexy 'do. Step 1: Prep hair generously with a strong hold mousse and salt spray. Spritz an ultra-light hairspray at the roots and blow dry to remove any moisture.

Step 2: Section hair and spray with a flexible hold hairspray. Twist small sections of hair and wrap around a 1.5-inch curling iron. Repeat around head. Tip: Curl hair in opposite directions to create a more textured look.

Step 3: At the crown, section hair and wrap down around the barrel once. Slide hair off and let it cool. Then with the same section of hair, move down an inch and repeat-this time wrapping the hair upwards. Repeat.

Step 4: Backcomb roots to give height at the crown.

Step 5: Flat iron the ends of the curls straight to give a less-than-perfect look.

Step 6: Finger comb curls to separate and make piece-y. Smooth out the backcombing at the crown. Create a criss-cross part to hide the center part. Pull apart curls for more texture and finally spray with a strong-hold hairspray.
