She's famous for her wacky wardrobe and extensive wig collection.
So it was quite a surprise to see Lady Gaga stepping out in New York on Thursday with her natural hair for once.
Although she had decided to give her head a breather from itchy and sweaty wigs, it appeared the star wasn't quite ready for the world to see her natural locks and hid them under a black hat.
While her outfit was rather more low-key than some we're used to seeing, Gaga still gave it a flamboyant edge thanks the the long train on her black fur coat.
Under the coat, the 27-year-old was wearing what appeared to be a pair of leather dungarees and a black blouse with black opaque tights keeping out the New York chill.
Earlier this week, Lady Gaga helped Jimmy Fallon settle into his new job as host of The Tonight Show by performing live.
Gaga's latest appearance in New York comes as she announced new tour dates in Australia.
Her Artpop tour will come Down Under for four dates in August, starting Perth, WA, and ending in Sydney.
Her new world tour is scheduled to kick off in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 4.
Meanwhile, the singer has reportedly invited the stars of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills to star in her new music video, according to Us Weekly.
Lady Gaga is said to have enlisted the help of current stars Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Joyce Giraud de Ohoven and Carlton Gebbia in her special project, which has already been filmed.
The song is apparently the star's third single Gypsy from her latest album ARTPOP.
Meanw hile, Donatella Versace has expressed her affection for Lady Gaga in an interview with d V Magazine, u ring which she told the publication that her 'ringtone is Applause'.
