Short hair, don't care.
Pretty sure you all know by now that we like to model ourselves on Jennifer Lawrence thanks to her general awesome attitude to life, but we're not sure that we're brave enough to pick up the kitchen scissors and recreate her drastic new haircut, which she debuted on her Facebook page last night. AGH. Yep, STOP EVERYTHING. J-Law has had THE CHOP, and ditched her gorgeous long locks for a quirky and cute blonde pixie crop a la Emma Watson. Obviously, she looks beyond gorgeous, but it's just a bit of a shock to the system as we're kind of emotionally invested in everything Jennifer does.
Following in the footsteps of loads of other celebs recently who all seem to be ditching the long tresses for something a bit more choppy, Jen confirmed suspicions that she might have been hiding a new 'do when she was seen sporting a beanie at LAX earlier this week. That little minx. The crazy new cut means that Katniss's signature brunette braid is well and truly out the window, thanks to her new shorter layers at the back, beachy textured blonde shade, and choppy swept side fringe. A source spilled to E! news that J-Law is loving her shocking makeover having been brave enough to get her long locks hacked off : 'It's short and drastic - she loves it!' And we're not surprised she does, she looks hotter than a casual Hunger Games explosion.
Jen has been gradually taking her hair shorter over the past few months, after she emerged back in the summer with a girly but grungey long bob, which she often wore in loose waves.
And just incase you were still undecided, here's final proof that J-Law's new look is awesome - it even manages to make her look hot when wearing those stupid Google glasses in a dodgy jumpy GIF. It's a magical haircut.
Well, we reckon she looks blinkin' amazing, but with that gorgeous face of hers she could probably do the dreaded Jessie J shave-a-rooney and still look beautiful. We are gonna miss the ol' Katniss locks though, but we're guessing she's doing an Emma Watson et Miley Cyrus and 'shedding her skin'. Or some other rebellious cliche.
