Since first popped up on the Hollywood scene (over a decade ago), she's never really strayed from her redhead hair color. She's sometimes opts for a darker auburn shade, but it's still pretty close to her natural tint.
But, as they say, there's a first time for everything. Over the weekend, the House of Cards actress was spotted strolling in West Hollywood with a newly blond hue.
Because her hair was slicked back-one of her signature styles-it is hard to tell the exact shade, but it appears to be a sort of dirty blond hue.

Mara has previously said her best feature is her fiery locks. 'Even when I was a kid, I had this insane head of flaming hair. It looked like a wig.'
So considering she loves her natural hair color so much and this is the first time she's made such a dramatic change, it wouldn't be too far off to assume it is probably for a new role of some sort.
