If you ever brought a photo of Gwyneth Paltrow's sleek, shiny straight strands to the salon and asked for a similar blowout, you're going to be really excited about the actress's new endeavor - a partnership with Blo Bar and celebrity hair stylist David Babaii.

Babaii and Paltrow have been enlisted to help 'direct a new creative vision' for Blo - the first blowdry bar in the U.S. which will soon open its 50th global location. The longtime friends have worked together on hair-related endeavors before ( creating a private blowdry salon for members of Tracy Anderson's studio) but now they are ready - and really revved up - to take their 'blow' on the road.

'Their entire team is the coolest you'll ever meet. I am just so excited and so is Gwyneth,' Babaii tells PEOPLE. 'I get to work with someone that's been my dear friend and inspiration for so man-years. How much better can it get? Gwyneth is so smart and cool and we work so well together. We've been friends for 12 years, and she's been such a support to me with everything. When we opened our first blow dry bar with Tracy Anderson, it was for members only, but there was overwhelming demand.'

Babaii plans to add new techniques and looks to the menu - and can't wait to learn from the stylists in the Blo salons. But just don't ask him to pick a favorite style. 'I love them all,' he says of the existing looks. 'Every single one of them is cool. I've done them all. I've done the braid on Nicole Kidman, the big bun on Sarah Jessica Parker.'

On his must list? 'I want to do the beachy waves, the soft styles and I want to learn. I've gone to the blow bars and watched them and I'm like, 'Oh my God, how did that guy get that root lift?' So I am looking forward to that, the opportunity to watch other people work,' he says - though he's got one end goal in mind: 'I want [the customer] to feel like they're the princess that moment.'

Paltrow has been keeping very busy professionally since announcing her split from Chris Martin earlier this year. She opened a GOOP pop-up shop, and now will be helping woman across the country better their blowouts. What changes do you want to see Paltrow and Babaii bring to Blo? Should they add new styles to the menu? Share your thoughts below.
