All hail Queen Beyonce! Style-wise, she can do no wrong. I think we can extend that to other things, too. The way she kept her cool with that whole Solange versus Jay Z debacle? Perfection. The way she avoided the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding and still managed to send beautiful wishes? Spot on. So naturally when I saw her latest hairstyle, I couldn't help but wonder how she just keeps on doing it. She continuously surprises us and yet always looks effortlessly amazing.
Even though her latest hairstyle probably took the work of quite a few hairstylists, the result seems carefree ... and perfect for the summer. It's the ultimate in mermaid hair. Take a look.
Hair down to there! Sure, some of you may think this is just way too long for summer but I think not. Think about how pretty it will look all twisted up in a massive bun. Or in a long ponytail. Plus it's braided to the side so we have that fantastic side flip that's so hot right now. Lorde has it, only hers is big and fluffy. Beyonce's is long and braided. I just love this look, the color, the length, and how great it looks on her.
I wonder what Blue Ivy thinks? My kids love to play with my hair and this hairstyle kind of begs for it. Tempting for a little kid's hands. I see Beyonce as a mom who lets her little one play with it and just laughs it off in perfect Beyonce-hood.
I wonder how many extensions it took. That's a whole lot of hair!
