Kristen Stewart has spent the last few days in Paris meeting with Chanel, who she was confirmed as the face of the Paris-Dallas 2013 Métiers d'Art Collection in December 2013 and it seems the trip to Europe has inspired a new do for the star, who rocked a side ponytail with a small braid.
The actress donned her usual skinny jeans, converse and beanie hat get-up as she made her way through waiting photographers at LAX yesterday, after she was spotted leaving Charles de Gaulle airport earlier on in the day.
She reportedly had a meeting with Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld during her stay and was snapped arriving at the Paris Chanel store on February 3. A source close to K-Stew recently told E! News that the Twilight brunette 'is doing really well,' adding that she is loving all of the work that she is currently doing in the fashion world.
Kristen recently rocked a similar look at the Sundance Film Festival where she wore one side of her hair in tight braids. She told New York magazine's The Cut: 'I liked having it. It's comfortable and keeps my hair out of my face. And I liked the way it looked. But you need to re-do it once a week, or else it will start to look gross. They were fuzzy.'
While the actress was a surprise choice for Chanel, having previously claimed she wasn't that into fashion, she claimed recently she enjoys dressing up and keeping in casual when she's not on the red carpet.
'I really like extremes,' she recently told The Gloss magazine, 'I wear jeans and T-shirts and am a total tomboy, but at the same time, when I pull out all the stops [for an event], I want to f****** go for it, polarised in the other direction from my reality.
'Everything Balenciaga makes is beautiful; watching their runway shows is like watching a movie. But wearing it is not the easiest thing. It's tough to integrate that type of thing into your life. But when you can do it-wear something unexpected, with your personal style-it's incredibly badass.'
