A group of nine women have taken on a seven mile walk to show support for cancer charity, Skcin.
Donna Munks and her 'Hair Care Bunch' walked from 9.30am to 12pm at night all around Nottingham in aid of raising money and awareness for the charity.
The group joined 200 women in donning homemade dare to bear outfits and striding out with confidence.
Donna from The Works Hair and Beauty and The Care Clinic on White Hart Street, Mansfield, said the initiative was a cause close to her heart.
'It is a cause close to my heart and all for fun.
'Our Care Clinic was set up a couple of years ago after helping friends and family with hair loss due to cancer.
'The clinic is within The Works Hair & Beauty and we treat people with medical hair loss.
'After seeing some of my very close friends and relatives being diagnosed by cancer and struggle with the terrible effects you can't help but say 'what can I do to help?'.
'For some of us that is raising money to help with research or care by staging charity events, walks, coffee mornings or running half marathons.
'The night walk was great, 200 women, a few men and Sam Pinkham from Gem am radio walked and encouraged us on the whole way with just his speedos on!
'He must have been freezing. But he got over £2,000 for doing it.'
The walk started and ended at the Forest ground with balloons lighting the walkers' way.
Donna added: 'It was easy walking seven miles, until that last half a mile, it was midnight, we were a little tired and cold, but the rain held off for us.
'It was an amazing night for a great cause. We have so far raised £1,000 but the whole amount raised for Skcin was £25,000.
'And we still have other events to raise more money for cancer charities.'
One in seven people die from skin cancer every day in the UK.
The night walk brings friends and families together to help combat one of the most common and fastest rising forms of cancer.
Donna thanks Loiuse Higgins, Clare Vincent, Jane Rafter, Lindsay Smith, Sheila Taylor, Lisa Twigger, Tracey Falconbridge and Jo Mapletoft for joining her on the walk as the 'Hair Care bunch'.
The Hair Care Clinic offers free consultations and advice in choosing a wig and the care treatments to encourage hair growth.
