The supreme leader might not be able to lead you to a supreme hair style after all.
Officials from the North Korean Embassy allegedly told an English barber to cut it out when they saw his discount advertisement featuring their 31-year-old leader, Kim Jong Un, according to local media.
'Bad hair day? 15% off all gent cuts through the month of April,' the signs reads.
The accompanying photo shows the pint-sized dictator sporting his characteristic, fashion-forward haircut: business in the back, party in the front - somewhat a reversal of the equally attractive mullet.
Barber Mo Nabbach, who runs the M&M Hair Academy in London, said he begrudgingly removed the sign from his London shop after this close shave with the communist state, the London Evening Standard reported.
He said he thought it would drum up attention for his business, but instead - in a bout of 'shear' madness - it drew the ire of two representatives from the North Korean embassy, less than two miles away.
'The two guys were wearing suits and they were very serious. It was very threatening,' he told the British tabloid.
After taking notes and snapping photos, the offended officials told Nabbach to take the poster down, blasting it as 'disrespectful' to their leader.
'I told them this is England and not North Korea and told them to get their lawyers,' he said. 'We did take it down but then some of our clients told me to put it back up because we have a democracy here.'
Nabbach and the embassy reportedly both contacted Metropolitan Police Service over the incident. They spoke to all parties involved.
Last month, Kim's distinctive hair style garnered international attention after he supposedly decreed that millions of his countrymen must get his haircut. But some recent visitors to the country said they saw no evidence of this and dismissed it as an unsubstantiated rumor.
