It has come to my attention this morning that two more movie stars have decided to go for completely different hair colors. Jena Malone is now a redhead and Elle Fanning is a brunette.
Malone's change made its debut over the weekend at the Inherent Vice film premiere at the New York Film Festival. A saucier, bolder, edgier hue than the blond she had been wearing ( click here if you need a memory refresher). I'm not totally sold on this exact shade yet, but I think red suits her personal style, so we'll see if she tweaks it all from here.
Fanning's change seems to have happened back in September. After I caught a glimpse of a paparazzi shot of her out over the weekend with dark hair, a quick search on the photo wires showed that she had this color at The Boxtrolls premiere. The difference is huge, and makes her look a lot less like her sister Dakota. And while her regular blond shade makes her look ethereal and angelic, the brown gives her a hint of a Snow White vibe I'm not mad at.
