She had an exceptionally bad hair day.

A U.S. Postal service worker from Manhattan was busted for injuring an employee of a Financial District salon during a violent ado over her hairdo.

Rachel Meyers, 26, allegedly hurled a curling iron stand at a stylist at 27 Century Beauty Salon last Friday while pitching a fit over what she thought was slow service, according to court documents.

The postal worker, who was reportedly wearing her uniform because she had stopped in during a break from work, went berserk after staffers didn't un-knot her hair fast enough, employees told DNAinfo.com.

'We were trying to be nice, to squeeze her in between clients to remove the knots, but we weren't working fast enough for her I guess,' owner Favi Ramirez was quoted be the website as saying. 'We kept trying to calm her down, saying, 'Please this is going to take time to remove all these tangles,' but she was just getting angrier.'

Meyers, a Chelsea resident, then started throwing whatever she could lay a hand on, including chairs and shampoo bottles, according to the account.

She ended up smacking a 52-year-old stylist in the knee with the curling iron stand, court records say, causing a laceration and bruising.

The second-floor salon on Beaver St. was trashed when it was over.

Meyers was charged with four misdemeanors, including assault, and was released without bail at arraignment on Saturday, court records show.

She is due back in court Sept. 10.

'I have nothing to say,' Meyers said when reached on her cell phone. 'Thank you. Have a nice day.'
