New hair salon opens in St. Mary's Square

One of St. Mary's County's oldest shopping centers has a new business. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday to mark the official opening of Ahead of Style, a new full-service hair salon. Tomika Cutchember Maddox is the owner and master stylist/colorist.
Each stylist in the new salon has more than 10 years' experience in the field of cosmetology. The other stylists are: Bobbie Harris, master stylist & colorist; Andria Roberts, master stylist; Colette Thomas, master stylist & colorist; and Vickie Sanner, stylist.
Tomika's husband Jeff has supported her 100 percent in achieving their goal of self-ownership.
On hand for the St. Mary's County Chamber of Commerce sponsored ribbon cutting were St. Mary's County Commissioner President Francis 'Jack' Russell and Mary Bohanan for her husband Del. John Bohanan.
