They say hair is the crowning glory to your beauty, and it definitely is! A good haircut coupled with good hair styling indeed makes you look your best. In times like now, when stress levels are soaring and hair problems are increasing, hair fall is on the rise.
Monsoons make your hair sticky, dry, and frizzy and the moisture in the hair doesn't help. One needs to take extreme care during this season as people lose a lot more hair at this time of the year than usual. My tips come from my own experience of trial and error as well as success.
Since we are in the midst of monsoon sharing some monsoon remedies for hair would be the best thing to do. Monsoons are sticky and grimy and we tend to wash our hair more often, hence it is very important to invest in the correct shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair. Applying conditioner is a must. The elevated levels of humidity in the air lead to hair becoming coarse and dry, which in turn makes the hair frizzy. Conditioning your hair regularly helps to get rid of the frizziness making it easier for you to manage. I recommend a hair serum that you can leave on your hair after a bath, during monsoon. Serum has to be carefully applied to the ends of the hair, for sure. Make sure you comb your hair at least twice or thrice a day and definitely just before going to bed to avoid hair tangles and knots that leads to drastic hair fall. When it comes to hairstyling braiding a portion of your hair or tying the classic pony tail would help you survive a sudden downpour especially on your way to an important meeting or party. Monsoon Home Remedies for Gorgeous Hair Oil your hair at least once a week. Oiling is advisable just before your shower but excess oiling defeats the purpose so make sure you don't douse your tresses in oil or keep it on too long. Aloe vera is a multi-purpose plant. Slicing a piece of it and putting it in the shafts of your hair and massaging it can give you instant coolness and also helps dandruff. I have found that a paste of fuller's earth, fenugreek and mint mixed with lemon juice and water makes a great shampoo and leaves the hair absolutely stunning. For glossy locks, you can even rinse your hair with lemon juice. An after-shampoo beer rinse will give your hair that extra bounce and shine.
And most importantly, you need to lead a happy and stress-free life; this will show in your hair as it will look twice as fabulous.Image courtesy: Luv IsraniMore On >> Hair
