Here, she rocked a chic bun with a braided back for a super fun effect. Justine Piecuch, stylist at Newburyport's shanti salon, is offering her tips for recreating the look at home!
Get the look Julianne's updo is simple if you have the coordination. For some people, it may be easiest to flip your head forward to go along with gravity while doing the French braid. Place your fingers on each side, right behind the middle of the ear. Meet your fingers a few inches below the crown of your head. French braid this area and secure with a hair elastic. This will ensure that you don't lose the braid or loosen it. Next, gather all the hair (while your head is flipped over) at the top of the crown and twist into a bun. Secure with bobby pins throughout the edges and hit with a tiny bit of spray to finish - not too much because this style is a little undone.
