My friends, clients, and even strangers ask me 'how I prolong the make up on my face' especially the foundation, concealer and powder. Since I work in the field of Make Up Artistry I noticed that there are few reasons why these products doesn't last long because of lack of knowledge when it comes to skin classification and needs.

As an example People with Oily or Combination skin buys a foundation for People having a Dry skin or Normal skin thinking that It'll be good for them too and some people likes to put thick layers of products on their skin, 'less is more'.

And in addition the excess production of Oils and Sebum on skin due to some changes in hormones, weather and lifestyle causes creasing of the products on the skin.

Enough with the talking. Here are my personal tips: 1. SKIN- read my blog about skin care it will help you. Always moisturize your skin with a gel or milk lotion type product for Oily and Combination Skin and thicker Consistency for Dry Skin.

2. Apply very thin layer of foundation primer for a smoother canvas and hold for the next products. Let it set for about a minute.

3. Apply thin amount of gel type of foundation that doesn't have oil to the skin.

4. Conceal any spots that are still showing through, redness and eye bags. Leave it for 1-2 minutes then get a clean-thin tissue to blot the excess moisture from the face. ReApply concealer if necessary.

5. Set the foundation and concealer in place with a finely milled powder. Concentrate on the areas the you are more concerned about.

6. Spray spring water for a dewy fresh finish or make up setting spray for a longer wear. Done, enjoy your fresh and long lasting make up!
