At night's premiere of The Boxtrolls, Elle Fanning looked strikingly different than she did in Maleficent, thanks to a hair makeover.
The biggest change: Elle has switched from her previous baby-blond to a rich auburn brown. It's quite a change, and I love how the brunette flatters her pink-toned skin. For comparison, here's how she looked when promoting Maleficent.
But the new brunette color isn't the only change that's really striking here-how perfect is Elle's shorter hair length? If, like me, you've been growing out a bob haircut for a year now, your hair's probably at a similar length, where it grazes your clavicle. It's not a bad length, but it always feels a little 'in between' to me. For me to consider my hair truly 'long', it has to reach at least to the top of my bra.
Seeing how Elle Fanning works her new shoulder-length hair, though, makes me want to embrace my own this fall instead of wanting it to just hurry up and grow already. Hair is so swingy and healthy at this length, and blunt ends and a center part show this off even more. She looks so sophisticated she's making me want to go flat-iron my own hair right this second.
What do you think of Elle Fanning's new hair color and current hair length? How many of you have hair at this length right now? Are you growing it out, or do you keep it this length intentionally?
