Rita Ora showed up at this year's Jingle Ball with a hairstyle so epic, it may have but elevated all of 2014 an entire notch on the coolness scale.
It was created by hairstylist Chris Appleton, who French- braided the front of her hair and then pulled everything back into a high ponytail and wrapped it into a tall, not-too-tight bun. And he helpfully posted this angles of it to his Instagram account so we can obsess about it from different points of view:
We've seen similar styles to this before (hello- remember Nicole Scherzinger's version?) and every time it's awesome. So file this away for the next time you need level-11 fierceness, ladies. The braid/bun combo really won't lead you astray.
