Nicole Richie rang in 2014 as a brunette and come spring, the star had her Instagram followers hitting the 'like' button like crazy over her new purple dye job. Sure we've already seen this hair color on Kelly Osbourne. However, Richie's return to brightly-colored locks was -- dare we say it -- more chic.
Then just as we were getting used to seeing her pop up on red carpets and magazine covers with purple hair, Richie went to the other end of the color spectrum with bright greens and bold blues. She managed to make every single shade look sophisticated by styling her mane in loose waves, top knots and pompadours. Plus, her cool mix of edgy and sophisticated style just made it all seem effortless.
