Zayn Malik's hair is no stranger to changes. This Week at a book signing the One Direction star debut a look snatched from the seventies. The style was made famous by stars of the past such as the Bee Gees.
Fans, however, appear a bit disappointed by the new look. The Daily Mail called it, 'a bit of a tragedy.'
When Malik first appeared, with a dangle of hair across his forehead as he stood on the red carpet with One Direction, it nearly caused the internet to combust! His latest look isn't going over so well.
Many fans turned to Twitter to vent their disappointment.
'Whoever is Zayn Malik's hair stylist needs to be sacked asap.' @BeejalV tweeted.
'Zayn Malik is sporting same hair style as a frail middle aged woman who about to have her house repossessed,' shared another.
Zayn and his One Direction band mates, Harry Styles, Liam Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne seemed in good spirits as they signed copies of their autobiography Who We Are in London.
Many fans were just happy to see Malik attend a public appearance. The One Direction member has missed several personal appearances causing rumors that he is ill and considering leaving the spotlight to circulate.
Rumors of issues with drugs made the rounds, but Malik quickly went public to squash them. From his appearance the book signing it appears Malik may be getting back on track.
The book signing was organized by the Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity. The charity helps bring happiness and dreams come true for children who are suffering from serious or life threatening illnesses.
One Direction has been long-time supporters of the charity.
During the event Malik and his band mates got to meet heroic young children including a 15-year-old names Harriet who is struggling with Cystic Fibrosis.
Just this week Malik and Jasmin Walia were voted Britain's sexiest Asian stars. The duo won the honor after 10 million votes were cast in a worldwide poll. Malik also made the top 10 list for sexiest Asian men in the world.
revealed back in October that Malik was being wooed by producers in Bollywood to star in a movie. Many believe that he could be the stand-out star once One Direction goes its separate ways.

He regularly trends across Twitter in the sub-continent more than any other British celebrity. That is why many of the big Bollywood film producers are very eager to sign him up to star in a movie or to deliver a song.
