Victoria's Secret might be adding a new face and body to model its line of lingerie and clothing, and while no official announcement has been made a photo posted to social media hints at just who that might be.
reported that Gigi Hadid might be the newest addition to the world-famous fashion brand. 'Less than a week after the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show aired in the states, the lingerie company appears to be taking an interest in the young model.'
The entertainment publication noticed she posted a teasing photo referencing Victoria's Secret via her Twitter account and suggested that Hadid might 'be working with the brand sooner rather than later.'
Fashionista noticed the same photo on Hadid's Instagram account (italics in original). 'Frankly, it's totally unsurprising: Having already shot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, it was only a matter of time before the angel-faced model got snapped up by Victoria's Secret, too. With that hair, that body... that social presence ... Hadid is so unquestionably right for the job.'
But even if this tease is true and the blonde model ends up with Victoria's Secret, it doesn't mean she's going to join the ranks of the elite ladies right away according to Fashionista. 'As we've seen with models like Behati Prinsloo, Victoria's Secret likes to start its rookies out with Pink before moving them up to become full-on Angels, so we wouldn't be surprised the brand is grooming Hadid for its next generation of superstars.'
Modeling is nothing new for the teenager according to E! Online. 'Looks like someone may be adding another company to their already impressive resume. Tom Ford, Guess and now this at just 19?! Not too bad at all.'
And if she does wind up with Victoria's Secret it will be just another bit of good news for Hadid in 2014. named her as one of its '7 New Style Stars of 2014″ and gave high praise to her. 'Gigi Hadid may be the model of the moment, but it's her impeccable personal style that makes her the It girl of 2014. As evidenced by her bright pops of color, embellished minis, and more, dressing for the red carpet definitely is Hadid's strong suit.'
This rumored addition of Hadid is also good publicity for the high-profile lingerie and clothing company after news broke of a man who allegedly exploited the brand. The Inquisitr reported on December 12 that 'an Iowa City man posed online as a representative of Victoria's Secret in order to trick women into uploading intimate photos of themselves in skimpy lingerie.'
