Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer on dramatic new hairstyle

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has shared her thoughts on fashion and courage in an interview with the US edition of Cosmopolitan.

The actress shaved her head for her part in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, in which she plays Capitol film director Cressida.

Modelling in a slew of futuristic shots for the magazine, Dormer said: 'Shaving half my head was a strong look that meant I could go punkier with my style.'

The gutsy star also discussed her philosophy on courage, adding: 'Courage isn't the lack or absence of fear - it's overcoming it.'

As for style, the actress believes that, 'good style - regardless of fads - means the things that suit your body'.

The 32-year-old was recently signed on for director Jason Zada's supernatural thriller The Forest.
