Double the blooms! Pixie Lott flashes pins in thigh

Her interview coincided with the release of her new self-titled album, her third offering for fans.

So Pixie Lott made sure she looked the part when she stepped out on Tuesday morning in a chic thigh-skimming look.

The Mama Do hitmaker, 23, showed off her trim pins in the floral shift ahead of her appearance on BBC Breakfast, in Manchester.

The blonde beauty clutched a pretty bunch of flowers, a gift from a fan, as she walked into the studios.

Her tresses looked perfectly blow-dried into a voluminous 'do, while she wore a yellow heart-shaped pair of sunglasses pushed back on top of her head.

Pixie's sleeveless dress stood out from the crowd thanks to the all-white design, and colourful floral print along the waist.

Ditching the heels in favour of a pair of platforms, which matched her ensemble perfectly, Pixie tweeted to say: 'Whenever I type lolz it always comes out as Lola maybe I'll just start lolaing now'.

Speaking during her early-morning segment, Pixie confirmed it was her most personal album to date following the release of Young Foolish Happy three years ago and Turn It Up in 2009.

The star - who is dating model Oliver Cheshire - said she had learnt to sing by copying some of her favourite artists such as Otis Redding as well as listening to the Motown greats that her mother played, the BBC reported.

The previous evening, Pixie had been photographed embarking from a train at Manchester Piccadilly station prior to her interview with a number of companions.

She looked much more low-key with her hair tied up in a relaxed ponytail, while carrying a large black overnight bag.

Pixie again showed off her legs, this time in a pleated skirt, which she brightened up with thanks to a two-tone black gold bomber jacket.
