Every season as a stylist I am approached with questions about the latest trend in hair color. This is a crazy brave trend but I love it!!

Bright hair colors were a popular on the runaways and it has been for quite a while. Often chosen by designers for fashion shows in neon and pastels, I like to refer to this trend as colors of the rainbow and now I am so excited to share my thoughts with you.

Have you ever wanted to have cotton candy pink hair or bright orange hair?

Well now you can. This year you have all chances to get the desired color of your choice because 2014 hair color trends has brought into fashion a palette of neon and pastel shades. Colors of the rainbow for hair include green, purple, lavender, violet, atomic pink, pale pink, electric blue blue-green, orange, yellow and many other tones that will totally transform your image.

Known for her outlandish lavender hair and rocking this trend for quite a while is Kelly Osbourne. You can be bold and daring like Niki Minji, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Pink and the legendary Liza Minnelli who was recently seen with an electric blue streak at the 86th Oscars award ceremony.

The diversity of the hair colors embraces extreme, vibrant, bold color. But the main thing about all these colors is that the final result must add something bright and unique to the image of the women. Now more than ever before, the latest innovations in hair coloring continue to rule the beauty world.

Getting the perfect rainbow color is a rather tricky job especially if you have dark or frizzy hair. Bright hair color can be created only on hair that has previously lightened. Harsh chemicals make hair dry and frizzy so just imagine what will happen if you already have frizzy hair. Your hair will be dry. If you really want to have rainbow hair color, I would suggest you turn to a professional colorist to have your hair lighten. A colorist will know the proper procedures to take into consideration when lengthening your hair.

FYI-these colors tend to fade very quickly so don't be upset when you see your color fading, it is normal. It's just a matter of going back to your colorist for a toner.

Next thing you should do is to find suitable color for your skin tone. First of all, you should choose a color that is suitable for your skin tone. For example, pastel tones which consist of tones that include shades like pink, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow and many other tones are more suitable for porcelain skin. If you have tanned skin, you need to stay away from using these colors or your face will look pale and dull.

Colors of the rainbow are becoming popular and growing fast soon we could see girls wearing jaw dropping hairstyles on the streets. This is the era of innovative colors and styles.
